Hi Daddy and Mario!
Erik slept better last night, but not a whole lot better. Slept from 7:15 to 8:45 then woke up just briefly, then slept again until close to 11. At that point, he woke up, and I couldn't get him back to sleep in the crib. So it was another night on mommy's tummy. I got more sleep than I did the previous night, but again not a lot more. He is now asleep in the umbrella stroller, so again I thought I'd jot out a note.
Have met some other families, including one family from Columbia, MO, with a little girl, and adopting a toddler. One lady said they have great souvenirs next door at La Casa Grande, so I am going to try to walk over later and see if there is anything I can get on credit card. If not, I may be coming back mostly empty handed, except for Erik of course!
Met a couple last night who were waiting for their baby girl to be dropped off on a visit trip. She is 4 months old, and this is the first time they are to see her. I talked with them for a while, but went upstairs at around 7 to give Erik his final bottle, and at that point their baby still hadn't arrived. She was over an hour late, and it so reminded me of when we came to pick up Mario, and he was so late. Hopefully she did arrive last night. The poor mother was so stressed out.
Hope all is going well there. I miss you both. I'll try to write more later, if I get the chance. The hotel lobby is small, so the walks around and around don't take too much time. At least we have the visa pickup at the embassy to look forward to.
Love you!
